  1. In February in the year 1902 there was a terrible storm. The evening before the storm, the sky was of a copper colour, and that was a great sign of a storm. The wind was blowing so strong that it tore up trees from their roots, and it swept hay and straw from haggard, and it also swept roofs of houses. It is only a couple of years ago since the roof was swept off Doora school.
