    The lucky day of long ago was Friday.The people who used to be going into new houses used to go into them on a Friday. The unlucky days to sow crops were May 1st and May 13th.Killing the cock for St Martin was another old custom of long ago.Everyone eats a lot of eggs on Easter Sunday morning.The people of the present have this old custom.The people of long ago had very nice customs.Any person born on fool's day would win the sweep.On May Eve people go out and shake holy water.
