- The fields around my house are called, The Long Field, The Barn Field. The Big Hill. The Lome Kiln Field, The Fort Field, The Lawn, The Couragh. and "Crogane a youre."
It is said that in the Lime Kiln Field a woman was seen by the men going to the fair about four o'clock in the morning. She was seen running from the gate to the big ash tree. The men shouted at her to stop the cattle. They thought she was a live girl. All at once she disappeared. They were sorry for shouting and afraid when she disappeared.

The names of our fields are, The Hill The Loughpark, The Lake Field. The |Whitespot, The Barnfield The Crogane The Sandpit and The Crag.
The Loughpark got its name because there is a lake underneath it.
