There is an old road going from the main road at Clooney Church to Moyriesk road. The Clooney Church was built in a demense whose owner wanted a Church and chapel, lake and castle. There is an old road going by Clooney castle and passing the graveyard and then going through Tirboy and getting out at Henchey's cross. There is an old graveyard near Perry's House in Newgrove where unbaptised children were buried long ago.
