    The O' Donnell's first came from Gleann Bonniv.

    river. One of them settled at the old house .This is the man that built o Donnell's house.The other five scattered out about the town-land and eventfuly three of them settled down in the town-land.The other two married in various places in the parish.

    jack Burke's :- This Coul got the name because a man of that name lived there some fifty years ago.he lived there alone and he was buried.
    Davis's Coul:-A man the name of Davis lived there.he later went to America.
    Ryan's Coul:- A family the name of Ryans lived there, and later they went to America
    Peggy's Coul:- A woman the name of Peggy Ruadhnac lived there alone .She was buried some years ago.
