    Urine was collected for the week previous. It was heated and poured on the frieze or flannel in a tub and a heavy man or woman used to poss [?] it with their bare feet. A chair was placed at the side of the tub abd the poerson danced on it to remove the grease. The liquid was changed several times and soap was added in the final washing. It was not used at the beginning on account of its milling properties. It was then taken up, rinced well and hung out to dry.
