    delighted to get some tea as it was a rare thing at that time. When the tailors made sufficient money, they used to set up business of their own. They were called "Merchant Tailors". There are four tailors in the town. Their names are Joe Leonard, Johnny Liddy, John Moloney, and Jim Sammon.
    There are three spinning wheels in the parish, but they are not used at all now. They belong to Mrs. Ryan in Moynoe, Mrs. Minogue in Kealderra, and Ita May Moloney in the town of Scariff.
    Mrs. O'Donnell in Scariff has a machine for knitting stockings. The machine knits them quicker than needles.
