  1. It was known long ago that there was a remarkable bush in Ranna. At this bush there was a ghost seen by any persons passing by. When the ghost would see a person passing by he would leap out and kill him if he did not talk to him.
    It happened one night that a man was coming riding on a horse. The horse stopped when he came to the bush. Then the man saw the ghost and he said, "If you are coming this way I will carry you on the horse." The ghost leaped on the horse. The horse began to stumble when the ghost got on him. All of a sudden the ghost said, "Do you know who I am," the man said he did not know.
    "Well only for you speaking to me I would kill you" said the ghost.
