  1. If there is an old thatched house where old people are you will surely find old things, such as flails, timber mugs or home made flay linen, sheet or table cloths.
    In some old houses you would see Saint Bridgets crosses stuck on the thatch rows, & rows of them along the kitchen (inside). You could tell the age of the by the number of little crosses stuck on the thatch [?] I never saw Saint Patrick's crosses, But there are Saint Bridgets crosses in every house. They are not made in this part of the country now.
