  1. The town of Tulla is tall and handsome,
    Well decorated with grand hotels.
There's an ancient graveyard with neat surroundings,
Two lovely Churches with sweet-toned bells.
The town is blessed with the grand surrounding,
Of happy homesteads and fertile land.
What's more endearing at the sports meeting,
Then the sweet-toned music of the Tulla band.
For trade and labour it can't be beaten,
There's a topping market with a Munster fair.
All the shops are stocked with the best materials,
While the stores are bursting, both front and rear.
There's a splendid school house and a holy convent,
With education for a special treat.
You can hear the virtue of their high class training,
From the lovely children around the street.
