We had our priests and gentlemen

  2. There was a man long ago named Thomas Marron, Corragarry, Cootehill, Co. Cavan who made songs. He was a good writer and was fairly well educated. The name of one of the songs he made was "The Marshy Land of Corragarry". He died about eighty years ago, and the words of all his songs are forgotten by now.
