  1. About ninety years ago, there lived a wealthy man named Patrick Carroll near the town of Tullyvin. He was noted for the songs and poems which he made. The best known was "The Little Village of Tullyvin". He died when he was about sixty years of age after a few months' illness.
The little village of Tullyvin is situated pleasantly,
Upon a little green plain which lies very lovely,
Birds whistle round and build their nests,
While little lambs lie down and rest,
    Round beautiful Tullyvin, sweet Tullyvin.
