  1. I live in the townland of Rallaghan and in the parish of Drumgoon. There are ten families and twenty-six people. Some of the houses are slated and some of them are thatched.
There are three men over seventy years living in it. They do not know Irish.
    Mr. John McGorry, Ralaghan,
    Coroneary, Bailieborough.
    Mr. Patrick Carney, Ralaghan,
    Coroneary, Bailieborough, and
    Mr. David Hicks, Ralaghan,
Coroneary, Bailieborough are over seventy. Houses were more numerous in former time because there are some ruins now. Some people emigrated to America and Australia in former times. Some of the land is hilly and it is good land. There is a wood in the district but it is a small one.
