  1. (continued from previous page)
Oh Jesus, bring me to thee.
    (8) Before the closing of the day.
To our creator, we, humbly pray.
And for the want of mercy's sake
    Thou, us unto protection take.
That nothing in our minds may excite.
Vain dreams or phantoms of the night
Keep off our enemies that is. So
Our bodies may no uncleaniless know.
To Jesus from a virgin sprung,
His glories given and praises sung
Alike to god the Father, be,
    The Holy Ghost eternally. Amen
    (9) Oh Jesus my only treasure I abandon
myself to every wish of yours and I seek no other joy than that of calling forth thy sweet smile. Vouchsafe to me the graces and virtues of they holy childhood so that on the day of my death the angels may recognise they child.
