    In compassed by

    He marched into the field.
    He raised the cross.

    "Brave boys will show
    Them gallanet play
    Let no man dare
    To run away
    We'll die before we yield."
    I thought the bands
    Played "Patrick's Day"
    When marching all
    In grand array.
    With cap and feather
    Bright and gay.
    They marched in warlike glow.
