  1. It is counted lucky to set eggs for hatching on Friday.
    If you have been ill, don't get up for the first time on Saturday.
    Don't move to a new house on Saturday.
    If people think another person wishes them ill, if they come into the house run after them as they leave, and drop a live coal on their tracks, and then they will have no power to do evil to anyone of that household.
    When a person's hair is cut, it is counted very unlucky to burn the hair, it should be left out in a bush or tree for the birds to use in building their nests.
