    Through an ould spinning wheel,
    Through a bag of pepper, through a miller's hopper,
    Through a sheep's shank bone,
    Such a riddle never was known.
    Ans: = a moth.
    2. The shape of an apple
    as deep as a pail,
    She never cries out
    till she's caught by the tail.
    Ans: = a bell.
    3. What are you and me and the whole world doing at the same time.
    Ans:= Getting oulder.
    4. As I went through yon guttery gap,
    I met a wee lad with a red cap;
    He was crying and I asked him what ailed him
    He was more afeared of a duck or a hen
    than King William and all his men.
    Ans:= a worm.
    5. A wooden leg; it has no feet
    it cannot stand; its shod with steel.
    It cannot feel; its "shoot" (suit) is silk;
    a belt around the middle;
    and can ye tell me this funny riddle.
    Ans: = an umbrella.
