The hare ran away an' he followed the track of the blood that was streaming out of the heel. He tracked her to ould walls (ruins) and an ould woman was inside crying "Oh me feel, me heel! I'm dyin, Im' dyin". "May the devil cure you" says the man "ye should be dead long ago". The hare was an ould hag that could take the shape to steal her neighbours milk.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
