  1. In Cornanure of high renown, convenient to the school,
    His parents reared him tenderly and they made him a fool.
    Working for him in the fields is totally out of place,
    I think he's going to give it up and start the Irish lace.

    Boys if you would see him, you'd agree with me I'm sure,
    He's the nicest chap you ever met
    Is the prince of Cornanure.
    When he dresses on a Sunday he is looking fine
    With silk hankerchiefs around his neck and streamers down behind.
    Another in his pocket, when he gets his leggings on,
    You'd think he was Raphe Robinson or Mr. Leslie's son.
