That brought you to an end and like this,Ochone, ochone, ochone.Mrs. Crotty wrote this song when her husband William Crotty the outlaw of the Comeragh mountains was captured and hanged. Mrs. Crotty, David Norris and William Crotty are the people mentioned in the song. Crotty and his wife lived in a cave in the Comeragh mountains near a lake now called Crotty's lake. David Norris was the man who betrayed Crotty. None of them is alive now. The people do not know any of their relations.
