    TOBAR SHEANÁIN:-
on the outskirts of Kilkee. Senan is supposed to have knelt on Duggerna Rocks and thrown a stone saying that a well would spring up wherever the stone fell. The alleged marks of his knees and one foot are still shown on the Rocks - perfectly shaped, round holes apparently formed from tidal action. The stone in question fell 1/2 mile away and is to be seen built into the wall surrounding the well. Mr Jim Purtill was instrumental in getting this done.
