  1. Potatoes are planted in this townland. The names of them are Land Leaguers, Epicures, Scotch Greys, Kerrs Pink, Aran Bloomers, Aran Bauneos, Up-to-dates, Aran Victory, Irish Queens, and Bloomers. They are sown in both drills and ridges. We sow on an average about 170 stones. We spray them three times in the year, from the middle of July to the second week of June. The manure we put on them is farmyard manure.
