    The girls of our school play a game called "High-gates". All the girls make a ring around and two will be picked out. One will go to one side and the other to the other side. One of them will say, "Where are you going?" The other will say, "To the fair". The other will say, "Will you let me with you?" Then the other will say, "Set off and wash your dirty face." That one will run out and in around the ring and the other after that one. When they will be caught two more will be picked out and will do the same as the others did.
