    The people often saw candles made at home. The candles were made of tallow and rushes. The white of the rush was the wick.
    The people saw soap made. The was made of seaweed.
    The people saw a basket made. The basket was made of rods. The rods were twisted and plaited.
    The people make súgáns for hay and houses up to the present day. There is a twisting-bow for making súgáns. Two men make súgáns. One man twists it and the other man makes it.
    A rick of hay is thatched by leaving the rushes along it.
    I do not know any trade the people used to practise long ago.
