kind to promise a round at Saint Bridget's Well. You go there and do the round and when you have the round completed you go to the Well to take a glass of water. You remain there for some time to see if you would see the eel in the stream of water and if you do your request will be granted. Not all who do rounds see the eel. On Saint Bridget's Eve the people put up wooden crosses on the walls of their houses in honour of Saint Bridget.
