  2. A few years ago a man named Pat Meaney was returning home from a fair and as he was passing an old house near Clonderlain he suddenly saw a woman. She was dressed in white and was standing in the middle of the road. As he came closer to her she disappeared. He was not gone far when he suddenly looked around and he saw her standing in the same place. It is supposed that there was gold hidden there but no one ever discovered it.
