- There are two Holy Wells in this parish. One called Saint Berrihert's Well is on Jim Daly's land of Ardane and the second called Saint Neavaun's Well is in the land of John O'Connor of Barnlough. People still visit Saint Berriherts Well from the 18th to the 26th of February and make their rounds both at the Well and Kyle which is a disused graveyard about two hundred yards west of the Well.
There is no story about the origin of the Well nor is it known when Saint Berrihert lived. Sick people drink the water. People who visit the well take some of the water home with them. Relics which consist of medals, statues and rosary(continues on next page)- Collector
