  1. The roads serving this district are wide and well constructed. They are not very well kept at present.
    The principal road leads from Dungrud to Cappagh; it has many by-roads chiefly on its north side.
    This road was constructed between the years 1825-50, a big amount of the work was done by distress gangs" during the famine years.
    There were no bridges at first and the road crossed the streams at fords or level places. The principal bridges are at Drumomarka, Rossadrehis, and Clopera Rossadrehidbridge was built in 1831. The
