    Having as I thought got from all my friends Folklore stories, I was delighted to meet on Sunday in a friend's house a very old man - a hundred years of age - so I asked him to tell a story.
    He answered "The devil ab bit of folklore have I. No, I am wrong, the "devil a bit" reminds me of the time, long long ago when the devil came to Tipperary to conquer and tame the people.
    This happened long before St. Patrick was born. The Ould Boy landed on the
