    Customs
    A Christmas custom in this district is to decorate the top of the dresser, the pictures and the walls with holly, ivy, and mistletoe.
    On Christmas Eve night a candle is lighted and placed on the kitchen window as an invitation to all who happen to be passing like St. Joseph and the Blessed Virgin were on the first Christmas night.
    Another custom is that Children hang up their stockings at the end of their beds or near the chimney.
    On St Stephens Day wren boys dress themselves up in straw and one of them carries a holly
