    Cotton Mills
About two miles from Gattyclogher and its in the Townland of Tincurry stands the Ruins of an old Mill which was originally used for manufacturing cotton. However in the year 1847 as there was not enough of accommodation in the Poor Houses for all the people it was converted into a Poor House. It was so used for a number of years.
The place as formerly the property of Jackson's who came from the north of Ireland and afterwards it was bought by the Walpoles and it is now the property of Mr Michael O'Brian
