   6. Wild geese are seen on the wing.

   7. To see a new moon on its back.

   8. When a frog is of a black colour.

   9. When the hens are picking themselves.

   10. When the walls of the house are damp.

   11. Pissmires are crowded on the road.

   12. There is a mist over Knockmealdown mountains.

   13. The crickets are chirping by the fire.

   14. The sky is very dark.

   15. The swallows fly low.

   16. The crows flock together in a field.

   17. The salt is damp and wet.

   Signs of fine weather are:

   1. The sky seems very high.

   2. The smoke goes straight from the chimney.

   3. The birds fly high in the sky.

   Signs of frost

   1. When the smoke goes around the house.

   2. When the moon and the stars are seen plainly in the sky.
