    In Ballywilliam there is a well called Patrick's Well. It is said that id you boil water from a certain part of that well some evil will befall you.
    A man living near the well said he would try of this story was true so he got some of the water and boiled it. On the same day he got pains and he was a cripple for the rest of his life.
    It is said that if you dig a grave on Monday you will be digging them for the rest of the week.
    It is said that it is unlucky to be wished Happy New Year by a fair-haired man and it is luckey to be wished it by a dark-haired man.
    Several people will not wear green they say it is and unlucky colour.
