    wild fire is cured by a drop of blood of a person named Walsh and to rub to the affected part. This is also cured by the blood of a black cat.
    A cure for a sore head or heel is to get the skin of suet and rub it to the affected part.

  2. Cure for chilblains:- Take one pint of sweet oil, three ozs. of Venice Turpentine. Place these in a small saucepan over a gentle heat, stir with bone spoon, simmer for a few minutes and rub it to chilblains every night.
    Wound:- Long ago people said that the rough side of a cabbage or an ivy leaf will draw a wound and the smooth side will heal a wound.
