    At the time the Land War was in Nenagh there was a secret society known as the "Terries.
    At this same time there was a wealthy gentleman named "Waller" living in Finoe House near Borrisokane.
    One night a great banquet was on, to which numerous lords and ladies were invited. The rooms were beautifully decorated for the occasion.
    The "Terries" hearing of this banquet, they crept secretly into the house and went into the drawing room. The ladies were having their feast in dinning room and as it was the custom for the ladies to leave the table first they did so and went to the drawing room.
