    He was true to the cause till
    the last.
    And when of times out-
    numbered in action,
    He fought with a vigour so
    bold.
    That he conquered the vicious
    Crown forces
    By the men of the Green,
    White and Gold.
    As a leader no man could
    surpass him,
    For he acted with judgement
    and skill
    In the ranks, a place is
    left vacant
    That no one can ever fill.
    The Green, White and Gold
    were his colours,
    In their aid he would fight
    night and day
