  1. There are four old graveyards in this parish. The Athboy graveyard is situated just at the back of the town. The Rathmore graveyard in Rathmore and the Hill Of Ward graveyard in the same townland. There is also a graveyard in Moyagher.
    All these graveyards are still in use, but, people are now taking plots in the new graveyard. The Hill Of Ward and Moyagher graveyards are round, and the Athboy graveyard, which was once square, was extended and therefore it is now in two parts. There is a Protestant Church
