    As soon as they had light they all made for the field, but if they did itself that was all they had for their trouble, for there wasn't a ridge in the field that there wasn't a flag on, and a feather stuck beside it, but the crock of gold never turned up.

    The Fairy Coopers
    There was a cooper of the name of Cadden who lived in the lower end of Colmcille.
    He was very poor, and he had a sick wife and a weak young family. He used to sit up late at night sometimes trying to finish work and he would often fall asleep. Whenever eh did the fairies would come and finish it, and after a while he had the best of luck.
