    When they had the toothache they had to go to a special rock, where they were never to stand again and say three Hail Marys They had also to bring a piece of clay from the place.
    Cure for whooping caugh
    Any wife who had the same surname as her husband has the cure.
    If you get some eatable from three of those people you are supposed to have the cure.
    Cure for mumpos.
    A person who has the mumps must out on a pair of winkers used for an ass and then go round the pig sty three times saying some words which are supposed to make the cure certain.
