  1. Cures. In olden times people used the following cure for toothace. The went to a speical rock or stone where they they were never to stand again and said three Hail Marys. And they brought a piece of clay from the place, as a keepsake.
    To cure nettle Rash they would pull four nettles, boil three of them and let the fourth wither and give the water of the Nettles to the person to drink. The Yarrow is a small broad-leafed weed that grows on ditches and people used it for colds.
