    There is a fort in Druminbawn.

    There is a Fort in Druminbawn, Lavey, and in Ballyjamesduff in Co. Cavan. In each there is a hole into which I have dropped stones. I could hear the noise of the stones falling into the depths.
    Some of the old inhabitants say there was a man once who through curiosity removed the earth and descended, but he had not got far down when he became blind. He succeeded to get to the top, but when he reached there he could not describe his adventure.
