    78 side cars conveyed police and soldiers to carry out those evictions. The landlords as a rule were good where protestants were concerned but bad in the case of catholics.
    Farms were sometimes subdivided among members of families on marriage. People occupying or herding farms of evicted tenants were very often boycotted.
