    side galleries were burned, about half the church in all. The vestments and sacred vessels were destroyed also.
    It was almost midday before the fire was subdued and although many people took great risks no one was seriously injured.
    Abut twenty five years ago there lived in Drumeagle a man named John Stafford his house was burned to the ground. It was in the month of April and every thing was very dry and when the house went on fire it could not be quenched. It happened in the day a boy of unsound mind was in the house alone he brought in straw and put it in the room and cracked a match to it and went away.
