  2. A highway robber who took £200 from a rich farmer was arrested, tried and sentenced to death. Being asked to tell where he had the money he stated that he buried it in a ditch along the roadside between Virginia and Mullagh two miles from the latter town. The hidden treasure has not been discovered.
