  1. Christmas 13-5-1938
    Long ago on Christmas Eve the people put a candle in each window and lit them and when they were saying the rosary they left the door open because they said the Saints were about and they would come in for shelter. When they were going to bed they put food at the fire for the poor people. All the family got home for Christmas and they ate their Christmas dinner at a big table.
    Long ago St. Stephen's day was a holiday and a day of abstinence which meat was not eaten.
