  1. On the outskirts of Belturbet, along the banks of the River Erne there are a few undulating fields called "The Falls". In one of these fields there is a big hollow and in it there are a lot of trees and it is called a "Fairy Fort" It is said that whoever goes into it will never get out again.
Some distance away from the fort there is a big chimney and it is said to be the chimney of a house under the ground.
