  1. Old Prayers
    26-1-38
    1. There are four corners on my bed,
There four angel's wings are spread,
    Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,
God bless the bed that I lie on.
    2. As I lie down to sleep, I give my soul to God to keep. If anything occurs, O Blessed Virgin come and waken me.
    3. Sweet Jesus keep me from sin, shame and scandal. Keep me from the hands of my enemies both soul and body through Christ Our Lord
    Amen.
    4. God bless me and make a good child of me. God bless Daddy and Mammy and spare them over me. God bless my brothers and sisters.
