  1. In Belturbet not long ago there lived an old man named Paddy Cassidy and there are many funny stories told about him. He used to do odd jobs for people.
    One day the Parish priest of Belturbet asked him to make a kennel for the dog. When he had it finished he brought the priest out to look at it. When the priest saw it he said "It is too small. How could the dog turn in that?" "Let him go out side and turn and then go back into the kennel" said Paddy.
