    “...treasures into this tunnel and they are supposed to be there still.”

    A few years ago, the Administrator of Drumlane Parish, who is keenly interested in antiquities, was thinking of getting the tunnel opened to search for the buried treasures. He was dissuaded from doing so by some of his parishioners who said that the excavators would probably be overcome by the foul air from the tunnel, and the project was rejected.
