  1. When people die they are washed and some people bury the basin and towel and soap which were used. There is a brown habit trimmed with white ribbon put on Catholics. Some get this habit made a long time before they die and get it blessed by a priest.
    There is a white shroud generally put on non-catholics when they are dead. The corpse is placed in a bed dressed with white bed-clothes.
